What would you like to change about your smile?

Dental veneers cover the front surfaces of teeth to change their color, shape or size, whether you want to improve one tooth or several.
  • Staining that has not improved with whitening.
  • Chipped or worn edges.
  • Small gaps between teeth.
  • Teeth that look uneven or smaller than you would like.
Healthy teeth and gums come first. Dr. Zak checks for decay, gum problems and bite concerns before recommending veneers. Veneers change a tooth's appearance; they do not move teeth or replace missing ones.

Preview your smile before you decide

A complimentary Smile Tryout lets you see a proposed veneer design on your own teeth. Dr. Zak applies a temporary, tooth-colored mockup so you can see the shape, size and shade. The preview is done during or after your consultation. You can take it home for a day to show friends or family.

Which veneer option suits your teeth?

Porcelain and composite are veneer materials. No-prep and minimal-prep describe how much a tooth is reshaped.
  • Porcelain veneers

Porcelain veneers are custom-made shells bonded to your teeth. They resist staining and can change tooth color, shape and size.
  • Composite veneers

Composite veneers use tooth-colored resin shaped directly onto teeth. They are easier to repair than porcelain, but less resistant to staining and wear.
  • No-prep or minimal-prep

These approaches limit tooth reshaping. They suit some teeth, not every smile; Dr. Zak checks tooth position and the changes needed.
Read about our veneer options.

How porcelain veneer treatment works

  1. Examine and plan.Dr. Zak examines your teeth and bite, recommends a material and discusses the proposed design with you.
  2. Prepare the teeth and place temporaries. If reshaping is needed, the teeth are prepared for the veneers. Temporary veneers let you wear the design and discuss adjustments while the porcelain veneers are made.
  3. Check the fit and bond the veneers.Dr. Zak checks the fit, appearance and bite with you. After you approve the veneers, they are bonded to your teeth and you receive care instructions.
The complimentary Smile Tryout happens before treatment; temporary veneers are worn after preparation. Composite veneers are shaped directly on teeth and may need fewer visits. See the full veneer process.

What will your veneers cost?

The price depends on the number of veneers, material, tooth preparation and any dental treatment needed first. Your quote should explain what is included, from temporary veneers where needed to final placement and follow-up.

Payment and financing

Options include full payment, two-part payments, Cherry financing and Proceed Finance. Review payment options and ask about terms and eligibility before treatment begins. Cosmetic veneers are generally not covered by dental insurance. Coverage depends on your policy and the reason for treatment; check your benefits before treatment begins.

Questions before choosing veneers

Will my teeth need to be reshaped? Many porcelain veneers need space made by removing a small amount of enamel. That change cannot be undone. Some teeth suit no-prep or minimal-prep treatment; Dr. Zak explains the amount of preparation involved at your assessment.
Can I get a veneer on just one tooth?A single tooth can be treated. The number depends on which teeth concern you and how the color and shape will match the rest of your smile. You do not automatically need a full set.
Can I choose the shape and shade?Yes. Tell Dr. Zak whether you want a subtle change or a noticeably different smile. The Smile Tryout helps you review the proposed design on your own teeth.
What affects the number of appointments?Veneer material, preparation and any design changes affect your visit schedule. Porcelain treatment has separate planning, preparation and placement stages; composite may need fewer visits.
Will I have sensitivity? Some people notice sensitivity after preparation or placement. Tell Dr. Zak about sensitive teeth or dental anxiety beforehand, and contact the team if discomfort persists or your bite feels wrong.
What affects how long veneers last?Material, your bite, clenching or grinding, and daily care affect how long veneers last. Veneers can chip, wear or come loose and may need repair or replacement.
How should I care for them?Brush and clean between your teeth, keep regular dental appointments and avoid biting hard objects. Mention clenching or grinding so Dr. Zak can assess whether protection is needed. Temporaries can need different care; follow the instructions given for that stage. Read about veneer care and maintenance.
What if a veneer chips or comes loose?Contact the office so the tooth and veneer can be assessed. The next step may be repair, re-bonding or replacement. Ask the team about the current warranty terms and exclusions; see warranty and aftercare information.
Can I get an estimate before visiting?Yes. A free virtual consultation gives you an approximate fee; an office assessment is needed to confirm the final price.
Is there wheelchair access? The office has wheelchair-accessible parking, an entrance and a toilet. Contact our team before visiting if you need help with a particular access requirement.
